The accounting department at the FH Vorarlberg serves primarily to document commercial activity and to provide information for all organisational units.
Our responsibility as a publicly owned private organisation is reflected in the careful manner in which we act.
The areas of activity are:

• bookkeeping and accounting

• cost and activity accounting

• calculations

• general administration

Controlling

The FH Vorarlberg defines controlling as the supporting process of numerical and value planning and management of our focused system-supported activities.
Controlling therefore makes a contribution to quality control and efficiency within our modern organisation.
The areas of activity are:

• preparation and processing of the decision-making basis for the FHV-management

• budgeting and preparing estimates

• reporting (target/actual comparisons etc.)

• pre-budgeting and post-budgeting

• efficient development and improvement of the controlling system
