Design and mediabased Communication
The Department of mediabased Communication deals with all levels and aspects of media-based communication both analogue and digital from the point of view of audio and visual design - in close interdisciplinary discourse with other departments.
Specific attention is paid in this regard to media which enable interaction of the receivers with the medium/through this medium with others in the communication process.

In the Department the team has a varied and wide range of backgrounds and training in order to meet the needs of a wide range of variety and complexity in the current design of media communication. Basic knowledge of both analogue and digital production method is continuously upgraded and built on in didactic terms.
One of the tasks of the Department is to work on theoretical design and media-specific issues and cultural, especially semiotic, research.
In addition to teaching and research the Department also works on design issues on behalf of the FHV.
