Promotion of Student Projects
Student representation supports student-related projects at the University. Further information can be obtained from degree programme representatives.
Responsibilities and Objectives
- Service provision:
support and assistance, such as providing course notes, documents, information, Web links and support with projects.
- Representation:
student representation off campus.
- Representation:
student representation vis-à-vis instructors and the various departments and organizational units of the University, for example, at meetings of the University Council.
Student representatives sit on search committees for academic vacancies.
- Mediation:
between students and external bodies as well as University departments and organizational units, for example, for projects.
- Support and Advice:
for student complaints and suggestions, active addressment of complaints and implementation of changes.
- Objectives:
Student representatives aim to solve problems that may arise between students and instructors or the University,
to implement suggestions by students,
to expand services to students, to intensify communication between the various degree programmes (for example, forums, grill party),
to facilitate communication between student bodies at universities of applied sciences,
to provide and support a communication platform for students.
