Specific admission requirements

For a degree programme in InterMedia at the FH Vorarlberg, you must meet formal and personal requirements. The applicants that are ideally suited for the InterMedia degree programme are selected in an admission process.

Formal admission requirements

  • General university entrance examination or
  • Study entitlement examination or
  • Vocational  university entrance examination or
  • Subject-specific professional qualification with additional examinations or
  • Subject-specific German university qualification

 

Knowledge of German and English at the Matura level (Austrian general qualification for university entrance) is a prerequisite for admission to the degree programme.

 

More detailed information regarding the different university entrance qualifications (Information only available in German since exceptional knowledge of German is required for admission to the degree programme).

 

Personal requirements

  • creative and conceptual talent
  • it is advantageous if you were able to gain relevant experience in the media area before being admitted to the degree programme or if you can demonstrate preparation for the degree programme.
    • a professional period of time (teaching, internship, work) in the media branch or a relevant, related school diploma improves your chances in the registration process.
