Specific arrangements for recognition of prior learning
We consciously do not recognise knowledge on the basis of a university degree from certain study areas; only course-related recognition is possible. Students can apply for the recognition of knowledge and in this case have to prove the equivalence of the knowledge in relation to the requirement profile of the corresponding course in the degree programme he or she has applied for.
The objectives of each course serve as the basis for the evaluation. The Head of the Degree Programme is responsible for the decision with regard to the type and scope of recognition as well as the type and way of proof.
General entry to a higher level in a higher semester is only possible if all the courses of the skipped semester are recognised in full with the equivalent seminar performances.
