Departmental requirements
A basic requirement is an academic degree in a programme for design and/or media.
Only in exceptional cases are applicants admitted that come from other degree programmes.
Applicants for the InterMedia master's degree programme must be able to demonstrate very good knowledge in the conception, design and realisation of media.
Your regular or electronic portfolio will show where your focus and talents lie.
Additionally, applicants should possess good knowledge of the accompanying professional areas of media production such as design theory, media technology, psychology, marketing and project management.

The FH Vorarlberg's expectations of its students
A part-time degree programme is strenuous and encouraging. It requires a lot - also of families and friends. We anticipate that you are aware of this and pursue the degree in full awareness of what is ahead for you.
We anticipate that you will study with full dedication and self-discipline, and set high goals for yourself.
We expect students who will passionately do the work with the media, who are interested in the target group of their tasks and understand that this is their message. Media specialists that fully participate and nonetheless place the requirements and goals of the media project ahead of their own perspectives and wishes. Creative personalities that achieve the highest level in their work and always want to exceed the limits.
