The International Office at Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences is in charge of the University’s internationalization strategy, collaborating closely with the various study programmes. The major tasks of the International Office are the coordination of the University’s international relations, the development and the maintenance of its partner network as well as the organization of outgoing and incoming student mobility. Lecturer and staff mobility, the administration of different EU-programmes, encouraging mobility activities and the support of the study programmes complete the department´s range of responsibilities.

For its outstanding quality and performance in student mobility, Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences has received the E-Quality-Label on three consecutive occasions. In 2008, 2009 and 2011 the Lifelong Learning Award was awarded to the institution, and in spring 2005 Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences was awarded the ECTS and the Diploma Supplement Label by the European Commission. In 2010 the Diploma Supplement Label once again was awarded to the institution, in 2011 once again the ECTS-Label.
