ECTS Label awarded to FHV
Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences will be awarded the ECTS Label for its outstanding work in the assessment, evaluation and communication of student performance and for the transparency of this process. The award ceremony will take place in Copenhagen on 8 May 2012.
The award of the ECTS Label indicates to students, partner institutions and other institutes of higher education that the recipient organization has correctly implemented the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS), which ensures the fair and proper evaluation of student performance. ECTS improves transparency in international education and contributes to quality assurance at European institutes of higher education.
Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences is one of the few European institutes of higher education that has been awarded both the ECTS Label and the Diploma Supplement Label. This is proof of the high value the University places on both the implementation of the Bologna Process and high standards in education.
