Medical facilities

In the event of illness, physicians are available for treatment. You can find out the availability of the on-duty general practitioner in individual health areas from the Vorarlberg daily newspaper and online (general practitioner for emergency services). The staff at the International Office of the FH Vorarlberg also supports the guest students with their search for the right doctor.

Medication can only be purchased in pharmacies.  Information about night and weekend open hours can be found on the billboards at the pharmacies or in the daily newspapers.

The closest hospital is the hospital in the city of Dornbirn; the emergency ambulance is available 24-hours a day.
