Specific admission requirements

For the degree programme, there are formal admission requirements and personal requirements.

Knowledge of German and English at the Matura level (Austrian general qualification for university entrance) is a prerequisite for admission to the degree programme.

 

Relevant practice in the field of social work before beginning the degree programme is an advantage (e.g. as part of a voluntary social year or volunteer work in a social facility). Basic knowledge in the common MS Office programmes is required.

 

Personal requirements / expectations

Social competency. Openness for other people. Above-average social dedication. Interest in social themes and questions. The desire to work on your own personal development. Pleasure learning. Ability to work in a team. Resilience. Communication skills.
