Departmental requirements for degree programme

An important foundation for the master's degree programme primarily includes independence and self-initiative in learning, projects, etc.

Different from how you may have been accustomed to doing in your bachelor's degree programme, you are more required in the master's degree programme to address issues on your own and pass this knowledge on to others.

Diversity of the participants

In the master's degree programme, different target groups meet: Graduates of relevant bachelor's and diploma programmes, social academies and related psychosocial education centres.

Discussions about differences in terminology, definitions and various approaches to the issues in theory and practice are to be expected. The master's degree programme is naturally focused on the theories and models of social work.
