Profile of the programme

 

The strategic goals of the degree programme are focused on bringing the social-work network in the region into closer contact with each other.

 

In terms of methodology, the close cooperation generates synergies for the social economy and projects on the current challenges.

 

The degree programme itself benefits from the indirect and direct relationship to practice in real life. Students and the specific situation of social work are the main focus of numerous courses.

 

General parts of the degree programme:

Social economy, social work and social policy, social work as a profession, research workshop for social (work) science, analysis and evaluation, complex processes, media and communication, people and environment, the divided society, current research and development.

 

Specialisation in Clinical Social Work:

Psychosocial diagnosis, counselling and networking competency, health and the course of the selected clinical pictures, intervention strategies in clinical social work, personal experience related to the field, handling cases of action by example.

 

Specialisation in Intercultural Social Work:

Value models and target catalogues in society, intercultural social work in the micro-area, migration in the national and international context, international social work, handling cases of action by example.
