Personal requirements

The most important personal requirement that you should meet is CURIOUSITY. The curiosity to want to understand more precisely and in depth how complex computer systems function and work together, and how new applications can be accessed via software.

A second important point is OPENNESS. In the module library, you will work together with students in different departments. Only when you are also open for the perspectives in other disciplines will you take full advantage of this unique system at Austrian universities of applied sciences.

The FH Vorarlberg's expectations of its students

Besides curiosity, we expect, above all, independence and self-initiative in learning, in projects, etc. Different from how you may have been accustomed to doing in your bachelor's degree programme, you are more required in the master's degree programme to address issues on your own and pass this knowledge on to others.
