What is Engineering with Business Administration?

The degree programme for a Bachelor of Engineering with Business Administration at the FHV is an interdisciplinary simultaneous degree programme with approx. 60% business and approx. 40% technical content. The focus is on employed applicants with initial technical training and relevant professional experience who want to obtain qualifications at the interface of business and technology on an academic level.

After 3 years (6 semesters), you will graduate with an academic degree, which gives you the greatest possible flexibility for later decisions: You can have a career in your field, but you are also entitled to pursue a postgraduate master's degree. And you can do this not only at our university, but at any university or FH that has implemented a degree system in accordance with the "Bologna" system (bachelor and master).

The successful graduates of the programme in Engineering with Business Administration can be found in almost all areas of the corporate sphere, but it is possible to identify preferred areas.

Engineers with business administration are frequently used in logistics, marketing, controlling and consulting. A large number of engineers with business administration also receive positions in corporate management, where both technological knowledge and business thinking are required. For this reason, there are many possible fields of work in various professions after graduating with a bachelor's degree.
