Semester abroad

Part of the degree programme also includes giving students the opportunity to spend a semester studying at one of the partner universities of the FH Vorarlberg.

The fifth semester is planned for the optional semester abroad. Students can determine their own individual focal point at another university.

For those students that complete the fifth semester at the FH Vorarlberg, all the courses are held in English. As a result, international students come to the degree programme in Mechatronics at the FH Vorarlberg. Consequently, the students also have "internationalisation at home" by studying with them at the FH Vorarlberg.

Internship

The internship lasts 4 months and takes place in the 3rd year, from the beginning of April. The second and actual bachelor's thesis is written as part of the internship. There, a problem is addressed and documented in accordance with scientific criteria.
