Specific admission requirements

For a master's degree in Mechatronics at the FH Vorarlberg, you must meet formal and personal requirements.

Formal admission requirements

  • A completed bachelor’s degree in mechatronics or in a comparable field, after

consultation with the Head of the Degree Programme and based on the departmental requirements.

  • Proof of English at the B2 level of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference).

Personal requirements

If you would like to complete a degree programme in Mechatronics, you should be interested in calculation and simulation. Mechatronics engineers want to get to the bottom of things. They want to understand how and why something works in order to come to new methods of resolution and innovative operations.

The FH Vorarlberg's expectations for its students

You must particularly enjoy performance, independence and self-initiative in learning and working if you want to excel in the master's degree programme. In courses, we increasingly attach importance to independent specialisation of the course content.
