A glimpse at the Electronics Lab

The Electronics Lab (eLab) is a modernly equipped electronics laboratory, which is used for teaching and research purposes. It is available to students in the technical degree programmes (Mechatronics, Engineering with Business Administration, Computer Science) and also to students in all other programmes. Furthermore, engineers in industry/business and research (e.g. V-Research) also like to use the infrastructure. The electronics workshop also lets you pursue long-term projects. Multiple successfully completed projects from the area of Embedded Systems confirm this.

Focal points

  • Fundamentals of electrical engineering
  • Electronics (analogue and digital technology)
  • Industrial electronics / power electronics
  • Measurement technology
  • Signal processing
  • Regulation technology
  • Prototype design (draft, simulation, building, test)

Collaboration with regional businesses

  • Make use of the infrastructure and the know-how of employees at the FHV.
  • Dedicated students confront challenges in their bachelor's or master's theses.
  • The team of university lecturers stands at their side with advice.
  • The repertoire of special measurement devices (see infrastructure list) is available upon request.

Areas of responsibility

  • Training in the entire area of electronics
  • Execution of industrial and student project work
  • Circuit design and simulation for analogue, digital and mixed signals
  • Design and production of printed circuit boards (prototypes)
