Why study for a Master´s degree in Mechatronics?

Mechatronics is diverse, exciting and has great potential

Mechatronics is a promising discipline. Anyone who chooses this path is in demand. Whether in engineering, electronics or programming, you are on board. You are capable of designing, simulating and evaluating mechatronic systems.

You are free to choose three from five areas of specialisation:

  • Sensor Systems and Actuators
  • Embedded Systems
  • Robotics
  • Computer Aided Engineering - FEM, CFD
  • Production Technology

Specialising enables you to sharpen your personal and professional profile. Regardless of whether you are more interested in engineering, electronics or mechatronics, you determine your own goals.

Personal support by highly qualified lecturers

Our team of internal and external lecturers gives us outstanding connections to companies in business and research. This ensures the high relevance of the training and exciting content at the latest state of knowledge. An excellent student-staff ratio also guarantees individual support.

The master's degree opens all professional and academic paths

Graduates receive the academic degree of Master of Science in Engineering (MSc). This makes them very well qualified for challenging tasks in the industry.

The master's degree also entitles them to enter a doctorate and PhD programme at a technical university. A career in research is also open to them.
