Our next EVENT:
„Guideline for dealing with China“ : Do’s and Dont‘s
China - from a glorious history to a modern super power
Thousands of years of continuous history make China one of the world's oldest civilizations: history plays an important role even today and the Chinese are proud of their historical achievements. Today, China is a fast rising economic and political global power. Rapid economic growth has also negative impacts on the country's resources and environment and not all people are benefiting from the speedy development.
The presentation will highlight important cultural aspects and historic developments as well as take a look at China's current political and economical situation and challenges and how the government, the party and the people deal with it; what role the West plays in this setting and how "foreigners" are seen traditionally and today by the Chinese.
Presenter
Dr. Eva Häfele:
China expert. Studying and living over years in the United States, China, Japan, Great Britain, France and other states.
