To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences is obliged to provide appropriate measures. In this context, among other things, the GreenCheck web application is used to check the validity of certificates iSd §4b Abs 1 Epidemic Act.
The Greencheck app is an application provided by the Federal Minister of Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection.
Purpose of data processing, data categories:
The data processing is carried out to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and is part of the hygiene measures of the FH Vorarlberg.
Students, employees, external lecturers and other visitors to FH Vorarlberg are affected by the data processing.

The name or other personal data are not processed with this application.
Legal basis:
The legal basis for the processing of the information, in analogous application, is the 2nd COVID-19-ÖV, in which the verification of low epidemiological risk is provided for. Furthermore, the processing activity is based in legal terms on Art. 6 (1) (e) DSGVO, as it is necessary for the performance of a task in the public interest.
The provision of personal data is not required by law. For employees, a contractual obligation arises from their employment contracts, on the basis of which they are obligated to the duty of loyalty; for students, the obligation arises from the training contracts. For all other visitors, there is no contractual obligation.
If you do not provide us with the personal data (also not in any other way), you thereby hinder the prevention of the spread of COVID-19 and violate the house rules of FH Vorarlberg, if necessary, an entry ban may be imposed.

The collected data is processed by in the application of the Federal Minister of Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection, there is no storage.
