This research focus of UCT Research looks for new, digital possibilities to support people in challenging activities. Assistance technologies are used as well in a working environment, especially in mental demanding working processes, as well as aids for people with mental or physical restrictions. Solutions, which support the user without any intervention and that work by themselves after configuration are in the focus of our research and development. During most applications, the execution of the aid is unperceived.

These are the subject areas of research and development

  • Ambient Assisted Living
  • Automatic notification system
  • Computer supported cooperative work
  • Human robot collaboration
  • Artificial intelligence
