Learning outcomes


  • Students know the most important leadership models and styles and can describe the leadership skills which are therefore necessary. They know the essential management tasks and possible dilemmas that are derived from it.


  • They understand the interdependency between leaders and followers and understand leadership as a social interaction.


  • Students apply management tools in various simulated situations and reflect on their effect.


  • Students are aware of their own personal values, their own image of human nature and leadership principles and are able reveal them in the analysis of case studies.



  • Students create and justify a leadership situation according to understandable and theoretical management guidelines.

Assessment methods and criteria

Written paper (group work) with clearly marked individual parts (at least 3,000 characters incl. spaces per person) on a practical case of leadership a with theory-based foundation and guidelines for action.
