Inviting the world to study with us!

Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences (FH Vorarlberg) is a part of an international network and cooperates with a large number of partner universities around the world. More than half all full-time students in the bachelor's degree programme at FH Vorarlberg spend at least one semester in another country. This opportunity offers them the chance already during their studies to acquire key qualifications that help them be successful in a global and international job market.

The International Business Administration programme at FH Vorarlberg in particular has a consistent international focus:

  • Compulsory experience abroad: During your degree programme, you take part in one of the interdisciplinary study trips organised by FH Vorarlberg. At present, students spend approximately 2 weeks during their 3., 4. or 5. semester travelling to India or Russia and working on a joint project with students at a partner institution there.
  • Sound language instruction through a range of courses offered in English
  • Lecturers from top companies with international contacts
  • Intercultural awareness as a teaching unit in the third semester
  • Joint study with guest students from around the globe
  • Summer/winter school opportunities as a "free-mover"

Further options:

Semester abroad:

As a part of the full-time degree programme in International Business Administration, students are able to benefit from placements at partner universities around the world. The part-time programme also offers the opportunity to study abroad as long as the student's job allows and if there are international study placements available. This option is reviewed on a case-by-case basis together with the programme director.

Internship abroad:

Depending on your job situation, in the part-time degree programme you have the option to complete a 12-week internship. However, you can also take advantage of a professional practical term during your sixth semester – based on your own planning, application and financing.
