The InterMedia master's degree programme: Focus on four subjects

Research-based design practice is a discipline which is currently just in the process of becoming established. The mechanisms of action and the causal relationships between design processes are only now becoming accessible to investigation thanks to the relevant data being collected.

The master’s degree programme therefore concentrates on four primary subjects:

  • Learning academic research methods
  • Exemplary research work within a self-selected area of research
  • Understanding current and potential future fields of research
  • Preparation for work in the field of knowledge-based design
