The work-based learning phases

You will work for a total of twelve months, made up of four work-based learning phases in a partner company and have an opportunity to learn in a professional setting. Your supervisor in the partner company has an academic background and is there to support you; they are also your contact person with Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences (FH Vorarlberg). During this work phase, you spend your time in the company in which you have been placed and:

  • Become familiar with the real-world work of an engineer,
  • Help with complex assignments on company projects in the field of electrical engineering, electronics, computer sciences and business administration,
  • Deal with applied working and production technologies,
  • Become familiar with the working environment of an engineer.
