Mechatronics is exciting, versatile and future–oriented. This is particularly reflected in the curriculum for the four semesters. By choosing your specialisations, you develop a personal profile that will increase your value on the labour market. In addition to the scheduled course units, you should calculate time periods for individual study and group work. These assignments involve semester work that has to be completed within a specific timeframe. As a guideline, you can assume that one ECTS credit comprises an average time commitment of 25 hours.
The courses in the winter semester run from the beginning of September through to the end of January; the summer semester runs from the beginning of March through to mid July. All courses are offered at Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences in Dornbirn.
The official language of instruction for all lectures is German. If guest students from international partner universities are attending the courses, they are offered in English.
ECTS: Credit points based on the "European Credit Transfer System" (ECTS). Consistent with international standards, 30 ECTS points can be earned each semester.
SHW: Semester hours per week (SHW). One SHW corresponds to 15 instruction units each of 45 minutes.
