Prerequisites and co-requisites |
You should either have a level of A2 or B1 in German or have previously participated in a number of intensive German courses or had German instruction over a longer period of time. You should be able to easily understand all instructions given by your teacher in German and also respond to complex questions with ease. However, German native or near-native speakers will not be accepted in the course. |
Course content |
The Vorarlberg textile industry, global players in Vorarlberg, the German Wirtschaftswunder, CVs and job interviews (optional), company structures, Austrian entrepreneurs and start-ups. With a vocabulary range of approximately 1500–2000, this course contains B2/C1 as well as C2 learning material. |
Learning outcomes |
After successful completion of this course you should be able to communicate effectively about various business related topics, orally as well as in writing. This normally corresponds to a level of B1/B2. |

Task based learning strategies applied in group and team work, writing activities, listening activities and video analyses. |
