In the four semesters of the degree programme, you can expect courses on the basics (basic modules) and on individual subject-specific specialisations (in-depth modules), as well as a Master's thesis as your final degree. The courses take place all day on Fridays and Saturdays, depending on the choice of electives also on other weekdays (study and work).
The official language of instruction for all lectures is German. If guest students from international partner universities are attending the courses, they are offered in English.
*When you start your studies, you determine your two specialisation modules individually. You can choose from three modules from the Energy Master's programme as well as additional modules from the Master's programme Mechatronics (see Optional modules from other programmes).
ECTS: Credit points based on the "European Credit Transfer System" (ECTS). Consistent with international standards, 30 ECTS points can be earned each semester.
SHW: Semester hours per week (SHW). One SHW corresponds to 15 instruction units each of 45 minutes. Here you can find detailed information about the Module library of the master's degree programmes.
