Learning outcomes

Students 

  • will have basic knowledge of nursing sciences and nursing research
  • will be able to describe the areas and tasks within nursing science in a manner that conveys understanding, know sources of knowledge in nursing, research approaches and the research process and will be able to discuss and take into account ethical aspects of nursing research
  • will be able to discuss nursing theories critically with regard to their academic nature and applicability in nursing practice
  • will be able to analyse and evaluate research work presented by way of an example
  • will be able to identify and formulate questions with guidance
