  • Nursing case management in gerontological clients including those with complex care requirements
  • Roles, functions and tasks in multiprofessional teams (including lay helpers) and special aspects of quality management
  • Overview of the support and care network in the region
  • Case studies

Learning outcomes

Students

  • will develop thorough knowledge of disease, case and care management, particularly for gerontological clients with complex care needs
  • will be able to take on supportive control and the function and role of care manager in the case of nursing care being provided for people who need it by lay caregivers
  • will be able to actively plan and design the care chain for the support and treatment of people of all ages
