  • Meaning, terms, principles and selected topics from educational sciences (e.g. teaching and learning) in nursing
  • Meaning, terms, principles and selected topics from sociology (e.g. people in social systems) in nursing
  • Meaning, terms, principles and selected topics from psychology (e.g. developmental psychology, clinical and health psychology) in nursing

Learning outcomes

Students 

  • will develop an understanding of the principles of the individual disciplines of educational science, sociology and psychology and
  • will be able to integrate knowledge from these disciplines into their everyday professional work, particularly in health promotion and prevention
  • will be able to reflect on their own learning history as part of a discussion
  • will be able to reflect on their own position in the family, training group, society and expanded personal circles through role diversity and role tolerance
  • will be able to use personality theories to handle patients
