Course content
  • Instruments of social diagnosis,
  • central theories of social work including their theories of intervention,
  • systemic social work with client systems with cumulative social problems,
  • research/knowledge about the interrelatedness of individual problem areas as a manifestation of the wider historical socio-political context within complex social relationships,

Learning outcomes

Students work on complex case studies covering diverse perspectives. Students recognise causes and interconnections of complex life situations and are able to produce case assessments and case analysis using a wide knowledge base from their previous studies. Students describe the accumulation of problematic environments and are able to develop required intervention and problem solving strategies relying on a holistic social diagnosis.
