Learning outcomes

Students are able to

  • designate the essential tools of project management (PM) and outline the phases of a project.
  • comprehensively explain the purpose of a project structure plan and summarize the use of project planning tools.
  • discuss the influence of team competence of the project members and the leadership role of the project leader.
  • applying the central instruments of project management in a successfull way to a complex example project, designing an independent project planning and using project control instruments purposefully.
  • critically scrutinize your own project planning and compare it with the standards of project management.

As part of Lessons Learned, students assess their project success and derive suggestions for improvement.
