Course content

Social policy is based on different targets, models and instruments. Through a comparison of different models it is possible to evaluate social services and social security systems. Relevant developments on regional and national level will be checked and evaluated.

Learning outcomes

Students know different models of social policy and social security, discuss the models and are able to compare advantages and disadvantages of these models and reflect on relevant developments in social service delivery and social.
