Studying international social work
Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences (FH Vorarlberg) is part of an international network and cooperates with 110 partner universities worldwide. The international focus is also palpable in the part-time master’s degree programme in Social Work.
Even though most students are unable to study abroad for a full semester for professional and personal reasons, there are many ways to gain international experience as part of the part-time degree:
- lecturers from partner universities (e.g. the Alice Salomon University in Berlin) and other collaboration partners (e.g. the Central European University in Budapest or the University of Guam) bring international approaches into their courses.
- Your participation in courses at selected universities or in international conferences can be credited.
- You will gain a range of impressions during your research trip in the fourth semester.
- Master’s students can also participate in a cross-programme study trips outside of Europe organised by Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences.
