At the beginning of the event, all participants were given an insight into the current status of the two Josef Ressel Centers (JRC), so that the visitors could get a comprehensive overview of both research groups. In the second part of the event each JRC worked in small groups on the further important steps for a successful continuation of the project work. Afterwards all participants met again for a "get together" in a relaxed atmosphere, where there was a lively exchange between the two Josef Ressel Centers, with a discussion about the previous findings, future perspectives and opportunities. Markus Preißinger and Michael Hellwig were pleased: "The meeting offered the opportunity to bring together the participants of two Josef Ressel Centers and to discuss common challenges and expectations. The exchange showed the potential for future collaborations and set important impulses for further research."
