An industry with enormous dynamic, a place where many people are pulling together on important projects, an university location that is young and dynamic and still growing and an Endowed Professorship in which illwerke vkw guarantees complete freedom of research and teaching. These were the main reasons for Markus Preißinger to choose the Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences. After almost 3 years in Vorarlberg, Markus Preißinger is certain that energy autonomy in Vorarlberg can succeed in 2050 if the people involved courageously take the path towards an energy turnaround.

"When regions like Vorarlberg, which are industrially very well developed, achieve energy autonomy, this has an enormous external effect," emphasises Markus Preißinger. You can find the entire interview here.
