What to expect?

On 13 June, the FHV campus opens its doors to everyone. FHV Open promises fun for the whole family – come rain or shine! While indoor activities include exciting tours, hands-on workshops and trial lectures, there’s plenty happening outdoors too, with a bouncy castle and ice cream van waiting to be enjoyed. You’ll also find a book sale in the library.

Programme Highlights:

• Get a glimpse into student life: Meet current students as they present their projects – innovative, creative, and socially relevant.
• Interactive stations for all ages: Try out the Flying Classroom, make your own soap, programme computer games and much more.
• Taster lectures & inspiring talks: From Deep Work to Mind Hacking, from Captain Kirk to AI – take part in short lectures and chat with our lecturers and researchers about topics that shape our future.
• Explore the campus: Join guided tours of our tech labs, research centres, design labs and library.
• Study advice: Get all your questions about studying at FHV answered.
• Fun for everyone: Bouncy castle, face painting, ice cream van, cocktail bar, and a library book sale.

Audience

FHV Open Day is for everyone interested in learning more about FHV’s study programmes, research projects, and the campus itself. It is a day that makes science and research accessible for both young and old. FHV Open Day also provides answers to many of your questions about studies and career opportunities. Pupils, high school graduates, professionals preparing for their next career step, parents, and grandparents – everyone is warmly invited.

Taking part in the event is free of charge.
You can travel to the event for free by public transport – just hop on and come along!
