Academic calendar
All important dates: start of semester, graduation and lecture-free periods
The academic year at FHV is divided into a winter and a summer semester. It is almost exclusively possible to start studying in the winter semester, with the exception of the Bachelor's degree in Health and Nursing Upgrade (see the programme page for more information).
Depending on the programme, there may be differences in the organisation of the semesters – particularly in terms of course times, practical phases and examination periods. Students should therefore regularly check the programme-specific information and current schedules.

Start of semester 2025/26: The detailed timetable for students from semester 2 onwards will be published on the A5 student portal by May 15th for the winter semester and December 15th for the summer semester at the latest.
