Support with psychosocial challenges
Life situations are manifold. Challenging life situations also arise outside of care obligations, disabilities, chronically illnesses or discrimination cases, in which people seek advice and support, whether in the context of their studies or work, or in their private lives.
Depending on the situation, a wide variety of internal and external contacts may be available. We are happy to help you find out who can best advise and support you in your challenges and, if you wish, we can also put you in touch with the right people.
- FHV ÖH Helpline
The ÖH Helpline offers students free, confidential psychotherapeutic support. You can turn to a professional therapist with all your issues, such as stress caused by studying, personal worries, physical symptoms caused by stress and much more. Counselling takes place in German or English, either on site at the FHV, by telephone or video conference. The counselling service is free of charge for FHV students.
