Health Care and Nursing part-time extended

You've always wanted to study, but it hasn't been feasible alongside your job? You have a family and want to be flexible in terms of time?

From fall 2023, the FHV will offer a unique degree program that combines practical experience, eLearning and personal supervision.

Extended: eight semesters instead of six will buy you time for people and things you care about.
Planable: Schedule and contact hours are clearly defined. You know what to expect.
Flexible: The learning content is available to you online, so you can learn regardless of time and place.
Practical: Work placements take place in blocks. Here you can apply your knowledge and specialisation.
Personal: University lecturers accompany you in presence and online.

Perspectives

As a Health Care and Nursing student, you will care for people of all ages and accompany them through various stages of life. The bachelor's degree in at the FHV offers you a high-quality, practical, and science-based education for the many career opportunities in healthcare.

Stationary: hospitals, retirement and nursing homes, hospices, rehabilitation clinics, spas and sanatoriums, assisted living communities
Partial inpatient: day and night clinics, day centers
Outpatient: Outpatient clinics, hospice services, palliative teams, mobile care and social care units, health and social centers, psychosocial services, primary care centers, nursing outpatient clinics and counseling centers
Other areas: Health promotion organizations, occupational and occupational health facilities, public health service, facilities for people with disabilities, Ombudsman Board, etc.

Access to further studies

The academic degree "Bachelor of Science in Health Studies, BSc" also qualifies you for a master's degree at a university of applied sciences or university, or subsequently for doctoral studies.
