First nostrification course successfully completed
02.07.202516 participants from India, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Iran and the Philippines received their certificates at the Lake Constance Continuing Education Center Schloss Hofen.
The university course took place at the FHV and was offered and organized by Schloss Hofen. The university course, known as the nostrification course, is aimed at nurses with a bachelor's degree obtained abroad who are already working as nursing assistants. The aim is to gain recognition of their qualification in Austria - the so-called nostrification. "We would like to congratulate our graduates! With their successful participation, they are now entitled to use the Austrian academic degree and to work in the higher service of Health Care and Nursing," says Dr. MMag. Peter Vogler, University Management and Director of Schloss Hofen.
Practical and individual support
Depending on the requirements, the participants completed individual courses, examinations and professional practical training. "The spirit in this group was very special. The students gave each other great support, and the great team spirit was clearly noticeable. They mastered the challenge of studying together. I congratulate all the graduates and am delighted that this course was so well received. They have now gained full recognition of their bachelor's degree in Health Care and Nursing, including the professional qualification for the upper service," says Dipl.-Päd. Diana Brodda, academic director of the course and head of the Health Care and Nursing competence area at the FHV.
