Vorarlberg Children's University: Start of the new semester

Try out new things, discover talents and explore the world: The popular format of the Vorarlberg Children's University was specially developed for children aged 8 to 12. In a child-friendly and interactive way, children explore new approaches to a wide range of topics that affect their everyday lives. The popular series of events will kick off on February 25, 2026 at the FHV. Sarah Schlatter from the FHV invites you to "Build your living space". The focus is on the future of living. The children will contribute ideas for their city and become active themselves in planning and design. Registration for the first event of the summer semester is already open: www.fhv.at/kinderuni 

About the Vorarlberg Children's University 2026 

The Vorarlberg Children's University is an initiative of the FHV, the Stella Vorarlberg Private University of Music and the Vorarlberg University of Teacher Education. A total of six lectures are on the program in the period from 25 February to 17 June 2026 and will take place at these three institutions. From superheroes, avatars and pop stars to the secret of perfect shapes - the programme is diverse and invites children to immerse themselves in a world of knowledge and science in a fun way.

Ongoing registration

• Registration for the individual lectures is now open at www.fhv.at/kinderuni.
• Each lecture lasts one hour and attendance is free of charge.
• The lectures take place in the lecture halls of the Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences (FHV), the University of Teacher Education and the Stella Vorarlberg Private University of Music.

Free travel

In cooperation with the Vorarlberg Transport Association, children's university participants and their accompanying person can use a free ticket to travel by public transport within Vorarlberg if they register in advance.
