Data protection and information for participants of pre-scientific research workshops

Fachhochschule Vorarlberg (FHV) handles your personal data with the utmost care and diligence. All data processing is carried out in compliance with applicable national and European data protection regulations.

As part of your participation in a scientific workshop at FHV, you have provided us with your email address in order to receive further information regarding pre-scientific papers (VWA) or diploma theses at HTL. No other personal data is processed.

Your email address will be stored for a period of 12 months unless you withdraw your consent earlier, in which case it will be deleted immediately. Your data will not be shared with any third parties.

You may withdraw your consent at any time before the 12-month period ends by sending an email to htl@fhv.at. Upon withdrawal, your data will be deleted without delay. The lawfulness of data processing prior to the withdrawal remains unaffected.

The collected data is used solely by FHV employees and may be internally shared with relevant staff members.

We would also like to inform you that, with regard to your personal data, you have the following rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, withdrawal of consent, and objection. Requests or enquiries concerning your rights can be directed to datenschutz@fhv.at.

If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates data protection regulations or that your data protection rights have been infringed in any other way, you may lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
