Job fair Vorarlberg with 1,000 jobs from over 115 companies
06.03.2026For the 18th time, the FHV will become a meeting point for careers and future opportunities on Friday, 13 March. The Jobmesse Vorarlberg brings together 115 regional companies and organisations in one place. With more than 1,000 open positions, the region’s largest job marketplace offers exciting career opportunities for anyone planning their next professional step.
The FHV is once again organising the Jobmesse Vorarlberg together with the Industriellenvereinigung Vorarlberg (IV), in cooperation with Marke Vorarlberg and the Vorarlberger Nachrichten.
A success story
“The Jobmesse Vorarlberg celebrates its 18th anniversary this year, which makes us very proud. What started many years ago as an idea has developed into a real success story for the business location Vorarlberg. The long-standing cooperation with the IV shows how much can be achieved when education and industry work together. The job fair offers exciting career opportunities and brings together young talents, skilled professionals and companies,” says Stefan Fitz-Rankl, Managing Director of the FHV.
To symbolically mark this milestone, a birthday cake will be cut during the opening of the job fair.
The supporting programme is equally attractive. Keynote talks will provide inspiration for careers and job applications. Topics include career paths after completing secondary education, founding a start-up, LinkedIn as a career factor and current recruiting trends.
Between meetings with companies, visitors can take a break and network at Café Campus at the FHV. For the first time, the FHV library will also take part with a book flea market, inviting visitors to browse.
The Jobmesse Vorarlberg will also feature a live graffiti and street art performance on the theme “The Working World of Tomorrow” by artist Christian del Rosario from Masfree.Art.
Jobs for all career levels
The range of industries represented at the Jobmesse Vorarlberg is diverse. From high-tech companies to food manufacturers, from service providers to social organisations – regional exhibitors include international industrial companies as well as many well-known small and medium-sized enterprises.
Whether for career starters, people returning to work or experienced specialists and managers, the fair offers attractive opportunities for all career levels.
The jobs offered by participating companies are also highly diverse and are listed on the online portal. Positions range from Digital Design Engineer, SAP Inhouse Consultant and Energy Manager to social-psychiatric specialist, registered nurse, Head of Accounting, industrial electrician, PR editor, police officer and train driver, as well as trainee programmes, internships and apprenticeships.
Strong career opportunities
Even in the current economic climate, the demand for qualified professionals in Vorarlberg remains high.
“With its global market leaders, hidden champions, innovative tasks, high salaries, short commuting distances and exceptional quality of life, Vorarlberg offers real opportunities for committed and ambitious people,” says Simon Kampl, Managing Director of the Industriellenvereinigung Vorarlberg.
Industry remains the central economic driver of the region, accounting for around 40 per cent of value creation and 34 per cent of jobs. Vorarlberg is Austria’s leading industrial region, offering the chance to work with outstanding companies on the challenges of the future while benefiting from strong development and career opportunities.
Free admission
Last year, the Jobmesse Vorarlberg attracted more than 2,300 visitors, confirming its popularity. Admission is free of charge.
