Validated simulation of people flows and infection risks
The PInG project is developing a simulation software that enables realistic calculations of people flows and infection risks in individually configurable indoor spaces – such as museums or shops. The aim is to gain a better understanding of how different spatial layouts impact infection risk, thereby supporting the development of safer interior design concepts. The simulations are based on validated models that reflect real human behaviour in various scenarios.
