INNOVATE VORARLBERG: Innovation and Networking 2025

Creative minds from business, research, education and start-ups come together here to discuss visionary ideas. The research centres at FHV – Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences also use the event to discuss current developments, exciting projects and new partnerships.

Expert knowledge on funding and financing opportunities
Representatives from key funding institutions provide information on support available in the areas of innovation, technology and green transition. Among those participating are
- the development bank Austria Wirtschaftsservice (aws), which supports companies from the initial idea to market success,
- Kommunalkredit Public Consulting (KPC), which specialises in funding programmes for climate and environmental protection,
- the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG), which supports business-oriented research and development in Austria and mitigates the risk of innovation projects through targeted funding, and
- the Chamber of Tax Consultants and Auditors (KSW), which also offers funding advice and promotes professional exchange.
A catalyst for research and development
The event begins with the official opening and presentation of the latest innovation report. This report highlights the key issues affecting Vorarlberg's innovative companies and provides insights into the latest R&D trends. This is followed by a round table discussion on the topic of ‘Innovation in Vorarlberg’, which promotes exchange between experts and participants. From 3 p.m., three parallel sessions will focus on individual topics:
- Funding for research and innovation with contributions from aws, KPC and FFG
- The latest news on the research premium, presented by FFG and KSW
- Innovation Call Pitch, in which the best digital innovation projects in the state of Vorarlberg are presented to a jury and evaluated by them
The event will conclude with an inspiring keynote speech, followed by networking in a relaxed atmosphere.
