What can you expect?

How do actors remember so much dialogue, and can they really cry on cue? Who makes their costumes, and how is a stage set created? In this workshop, we’ll take a look behind the scenes of the theatre. We’ll discover theatre secrets and follow the history of theatre from ancient Greece to the present day. You’ll also find out how to become an actor and who writes the wonderful stories for the stage. And, of course, you’ll get the chance to experience the magic of the stage for yourself and try out different roles. Curtain up!

Details about the event series

The Vorarlberg Children's University is the popular knowledge format for children aged 8 to 12, offered by the FHV (Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences), Stella Vorarlberg, the Private University of Music (Vorarlberg State Conservatory) and the Vorarlberg University of Teacher Education. Lecturers from these universities as well as bright minds from Business and Management provide exciting insights into technical and scientific topics. Naturally explained in a child-friendly and clear way.
