Walz 4.0 responds to today’s challenges in the construction sector of the Lake Constance region and beyond. It brings together craftspeople, planners, students, journeymen and women, educators and companies. Instead of working in parallel and in silos, Walz 4.0 aims for shared solutions shaped by cooperation and co-creation. The project strives for a sustainable, fair and innovative future of building – driven by people who think, plan, design, implement and learn from one another. FHV is responsible for delivering the learning modules.

Project Objectives

The project includes a wide range of activities such as workshops and seminars, active exchange, a design challenge, and the development of innovative and sustainable construction concepts. In addition, cross-border networks are established and maintained.

Planned project outputs include a comprehensive didactic concept, the preparation of a follow-up Interreg VI application, and the creation of a digital platform. The project also contributes to the sustainable development of the Lake Constance region and strengthens cross-border cooperation.
