Project objectives

- Strengthen the capacities of policymakers and improve regulatory frameworks to accelerate the transition to a circular economy in Central Europe.

- Raise awareness among policymakers, SMEs, research and technology organisations, and other innovation stakeholders of the environmental, economic and competitive opportunities offered by the circular economy, while promoting the adoption of proven strategies, tools and best practices.

- Further develop the Fusion Labs into permanent triple-helix cooperation platforms that bring together policymakers, businesses and researchers to jointly plan and develop innovative circular economy solutions and test them in regulatory sandboxes. This will foster knowledge exchange, innovation and evidence-based policymaking.
